Born in India's tinseltown Mumbai & brought up in Bangalore India, Anaitha Nair is a woman of many talents. From academics, stage acting & music she always had a flair & passion for cinema & her big breakthrough came in 2007 when she was cast as "Aaliya Bose" in the Bollywood smash hit Chak De India opposite arguably India's biggest superstar - Shah Rukh Khan.

After spending 5 years in the bright lights she decided to follow her heart & make a major move - personally & career-wise. She got married & moved to Hong Kong with her husband & decide to pursue her other true passion - hairdressing. 

After training at Paul Gerrard in Hongkong under Australian hairstylist Sharon Hadler, she went on to get certified at the Vidal Sassoon academy in San Francisco.

A mother of a 3 year old today , Aaliya is the centre of her life and hairdressing allowed her to opportunity to work as well as be a full time mother which was the top of her priority list.
